Last weekend was one of the biggest weekends of my entire life. Meet two of the best theatre families I have come to know ✨Les Miserables with Warragul Theatre Company finished on Saturday night, to which we all went to bed at a reasonable time to wake up for bump out the next morning and felt awake and refreshed the entire time as we moved out of the theatre. My very own musical, School Spirit (which I wrote!!!!), had its closing night on Sunday. I’m so glad I got the opportunity to come and see it, I had to miss out on a majority of the later rehearsals due to Les Mis, so I hadn’t seen the full product. And my god was I impressed ✨I’m still in shock at how something from my brain was performed on stage by people other than me to a crowd of people who also had nothing to do with me! My cast and prod team are absolutely amazing and I will thank the world every day that this amazing opportunity allowed for me to connect with them all 💕I never considered myself a “theatre person”. I sort of accidentally fell into it all after high school, and I’ve been doing a show or two every year since. These were my second and third shows this year, and I have another three to complete before this year is over 🎭Thank you so so much for all your support, at the end of the day, where would theatre and live music be without the crowds to come and watch ✨Love you all so so much, here’s to bigger and brighter things! 🎭✨ ... Many thanks to every single person involved in this fantastic journey. As you can see, there’s a lot more to it than just a bit of singing and acting 🎭 Here we have our fantastic orchestra, lead by David Williams OAM, our phenomenal cast, directed by Rob Robson and Grace Attard, our wonderful backstage crew, including set builders, dressers and props managers, and our beautiful makeup and hair team. And of course, our fantastic production manager Leane and her assistant Hayley! Over the course of our show season, we were heavily impacted by COVID-19 in a lot of ways. We are extremely glad to have had the opportunity to still bring you a stellar show, regardless of what was happening behind the scenes. There are so many more people who aren’t pictured here that we would like to extend our gratitude towards.
